Gifts of Stock or Securities

Anna’s House accepts donations of appreciated stock or securities. This method of giving may have tax benefits for you in the deferral of capital gains. Contact your tax professional for specific details on how to make this gift.

Charitable Gifts from an IRA

Congress has once again passed legislation allowing individuals age 70 1/2 or older to make charitable contributions directly from their IRA without incurring taxes on such distributions. This method of giving is particularly beneficial to those who do not itemize their tax deductions.

Remember The Lord’s Pantry at Anna’s House in Your Will

Have the following statement included in your will: “I leave to The Lord’s Pantry at Anna’s House, Indianapolis, IN the sum of $_____ or_____ percent of the residue of my estate, whichever is greater, for its educational and charitable works.”

If you would like more information about any of these methods of giving, contact Julie Molloy. And, we always recommend that you contact your tax professional to discuss specific tax implications.
